March 27th, 2010Birth InstituteThe Childbirth Educator Training Workshops have exceeded expectations during the first quarter of 2010. See just how great the participation can be during our time together.
We had participants travel from as far away as Lagos, Nigeria. The two days always goes fast and is so much fun. We hope to see you at the next workshop.

January 27th, 2010Birth InstituteWe have partnered with Childbirth Professional Development Group to offer a one day workshop that will increase profieiency of labor support skills and non-pharmacological pain management techniques in nurses, midwives, physicians, and other perinatal professionals.
This workshop will offer practical skills to use in the care of a pregnant or laboring patient. Participants will also learn how to implement evidence-based patient centered care.
Approved by both ICEA (International Childbirth Education Association) for 7 contact hours, and the California Board of Registered Nursing for 8 contact hours.
The first workshop begins on February 27, 2010 in Sacramento, California. Space is limited.
